Kelp

Kelp

Kelp is a seaweed with a long history of use as a food and is particularly valuable as a source of bio-available iodine.

This particular kelp, Acophyllum nodosum, is long lived (up to 400 years) and is harvested from the clean ocean north of the Arctic circle to provide a pure and nutritious natural supplement. Make sure you avoid kelp harvested from inshore waters close to population centres - it's cheaper but contamination from sewage and industrial pollutants can be a problem.

Contents: 180 capsules each providing 660mg of dried whole plant Kelp, 400mcg Iodine (220% of RDA).
